Took her out this morning a little before 7:00. She took care of business immediately, looked up at me as if to say, “Pick me up, take me inside. It’s FREEZING out here!”

Good girl.

The boys settled on a name…Eve. Being big fans of Wall•E, when we told them to think of girl names, they both agreed on Eve. We figured it was a sign since they don’t agree on much.

I’m finding myself calling her Evie.

So, for a kid, what is the worst time of the year to get sick? Yep. Christmastime. My oldest, Neal, apparently has strep. Fun. NOT!! Poor guy. :-( I hate it for him since he has been “practicing” every Sunday to play bells tomorrow, Christmas Eve, at the Gwinnett Arena for our church’s epic Christmas Eve service. Hang in there, buddy. Daddy loves you and hopes you feel better soon.
